Adrienne Merriott

Adrienne Merriott joined the Office of Legal Affairs in 2024. Her practice is primarily focused on research-related issues including research compliance, research integrity, and the intersection between research in higher education and other areas of the law. Prior to joining UNC Charlotte, Adrienne worked at Dye Culik PC, where she practiced business law and litigation in Mecklenburg District and Superior Courts. Adrienne also has prior in-house counsel experience practicing primarily transactional law and export control compliance. Adrienne holds a B.S. in Biological Science from the University of Arkansas and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law.
