About University Policies

The Office of Legal Affairs maintains UNC Charlotte’s official University Policies, a series of policies generally applicable to members of the University community. Note: The University Policy series is distinct from policies and procedures specific to and/or administered by other campus units.

All University Policies must be developed, reviewed, revised, approved, and published in accordance with the standards and procedures specified in University Policy 805, University Policy Development, Approval, and Publication.

The University Policy series organizes policies within chapters and subchapters, based upon subject matter.
