Maya Hood joined the Office of Legal Affairs in June 2023 and currently serves the office as the Paralegal. Prior to her position at UNC Charlotte, she worked for a small family law firm in the Charlotte area. Maya received her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. After earning her undergraduate degree, she returned to Charlotte and completed the Paralegal Technology program at Central Piedmont Community College. Maya is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal and a member of the North Carolina Bar Association Paralegal Division.
