University Policy 406, Code of Student Responsibility is revised effective August 18, 2016. These revisions are intended to ensure compliance with state and federal law and guidance, as well as UNC System policies. Some key revisions include the addition of several new defined terms in Chapter 2; clarification of certain types of prohibited conduct in Chapter 5, including 5.a, Acts of Harm and 5.p, Sexual and Interpersonal Misconduct; addition of an In Absentia Resolution method in Chapter 6.V; clarification of the conduct process related to Sexual and Interpersonal Misconduct in Chapter 8; and clarification of sanctions in Chapter 10.
